Updates:

July 2020

Though Max has now graduated from our Adaptive Development EQ program, his mom shared an update of his continuing progress. This pair could not be more gorgeous together…go MAX!

September 2019

After five months in the Equine Complete Program, Max shows advancing proficiency: visual evidence of a stronger back, more active stifle and improved lifting through the shoulders. Hind-to-fore motion is beginning to synchronize quite nicely.

July 2019

(July images have been deliberately overexposed in order to help the eye to more easily identify alignments and changes in muscle development.)

Above: changes after three months with Adaptive Development EQ. Note the overall differences as well as the changes to the large muscle groups of the quarters as old, compensatory tension and incorrect muscle development begins to recede and correct muscle development emerges. He appears more conformationally correct due to elimination of compensatory movements and stance.

Above: changes after three months with Adaptive Development EQ. Note the changes in the neck as the muscles of the topline begin to be correctly activated and developed. As he proceeds with this training, inappropriate muscle development will recede (overdeveloped width of neck). As he continues to slowly strengthen his neck and back ligature, appropriate muscle development will continue to fill in.

June 2019

Updated photo from June 2019. Significant changes after just two months of adjustments to diet. Where he was formerly “parked out” behind in his intake photo, he now chooses to stand with hinds in better alignment.

May 2019

Updated May photo shows nice dappling emerging. The splash of sand indicates he is not lifting and placing appropriately through the shoulder and he lacks synchronicity from hind to fore. This gives us supporting evidence as to where we must start in the early months with this gelding.
