Equine Training and Wellness Services

Every horse and rider combination is unique. Adaptive EQ provides a customized matrix of training, care, and support to resolve pain points and support balanced development over time.

Lessons and Horse Training

Euki offers private coaching at your location, as well as training, re-training, and starting services for your horse. Programs are tailored to horses of all ages, breeds, and disciplines, whether developing a young horse, refining advancing work, or addressing specific challenges both under saddle and in-hand.

Discounted monthly packages are available (see “Comprehensive Wellness”, below) and begin at a minimum frequency of one contact per week. Additional mileage may apply depending on your distance from Boulder and surrounding communities.

Clinics and remote consultations are also available. Please inquire.

Equine Wellness Consultations

If you are feeling stuck in any way, consider a Wellness Consultation. Consultations are more comprehensive and often take longer than a typical training session. They’re an excellent starting point when you’re seeking a second opinion or need help navigating more complex questions—such as how to move forward with a challenging case, discussing options with your vet, evaluating a new horse, saddle fittings, nutrition considerations, or situations where your horse is struggling but veterinary diagnostics haven’t yet yielded clear answers.

All consultations are offered as one-time sessions, often with light follow-up included, but without any expectation of an ongoing training commitment.

Comprehensive Wellness

Designed to deliver high-touch, personalized service that goes beyond ring-side coaching, Euki drives to you for your sessions, and the time spent on you and your horse often includes coordination with other care providers, ongoing support between sessions, and hands-on attention tailored to your individual needs.

This service is available in a variety of package options based on frequency. Euki will ideally start with a nutrition analysis for your horse and work alongside you to develop a training program that best suits you and your horse’s unique needs. This program includes rehabilitation training, foundation re-training, lessons, management of adjunct therapies as needed, and the option to include in-depth nutritional support along the way.

Learn the art of developing fine riding, sport and show horses alongside your horse’s developing education and ability.

If you resonate with Adaptive EQ’s philosophy, you may very well have found your new equestrian support network! Whether you or your horse has a specific issue you would like to work on, you know there’s a problem but you just can’t find it, or you are searching for an educational environment to improve your horsemanship and riding skill that is effective, supportive, kind, and has the capability of offering you ongoing inspiration, Adaptive EQ welcomes you. If you’d like to better understand the thinking behind this approach or learn more about Euki’s background, you can explore our Philosophy and About pages.

Yes. Every horse-and-rider team is unique and needs a customized mix of therapies to resolve pain points—large or small—to build a thriving partnership. If you’re unsure where to start, we’re always happy to discuss your situation and help you determine the right next step—feel free to reach out through our Contact page.

Like peeling the layers of an onion, training often uncovers hidden issues as the horse begins to feel or “go” better. These discoveries open the door to performance gains that once seemed out of reach. This perspective is closely tied to the distinction between obedience and partnership, which is explored further in our article, The Invisible Line: Obedience vs Partnership.

Every horse will see improvement in this program, though the degree of change varies. Some injuries, illnesses, abuse cases, or long-term neglect are so severe that our goal shifts to pain relief and improving quality of life. That said, many horses have achieved remarkable recoveries when retraining or rehabilitation is introduced.

Yes. If your horse presents a difficult case, Euki approaches them as she would any horse in her program—openly and with complete transparency. When needed, she can help you assemble a team of veterinarians, farriers, chiropractors, and other specialists to help you ensure care is coordinated and effective for your horse. You can see examples of how these cases progress in our featured transformations. Please also take a look at our client experiences.

Yes. Euki is passionate about equipping equestrians with the tools they need to reach their goals—whether they work with her long term or not. She shares as much as possible through this site for free, but there are still advantages to hiring her directly. You can see how this work translates in practice through our client experiences and testimonials.

Like humans, every part of the horse is interconnected. When problems go unaddressed for a long time, they often require changes in multiple areas. Even a single issue, such as ulcers, may need adjustments to diet, training, and environment to fully resolve. While a “best guess” approach or online research can produce visible improvements, those results are rarely as effective or long-lasting as a tailored plan from a professional. If you’d like guidance tailored to your horse’s specific needs, reach out directly to begin the conversation.

Euki’s background and experience allow her to combine training technique and adjunct therapies in ways that deliver the greatest impact and to adjust programs at the right time as the horse improves. This not only speeds up progress but can extend your horse’s comfort, health, and working years—potentially avoiding early retirement. Many of these outcomes are reflected in the horses featured in our transformation work.

The time required for each horse-and-rider combination varies. Visible changes in demeanor, comfort, trainability, or appearance depend on the individual animal, its history, and its response to the program. This perspective is explored further in our article, In Defense of the Average Horse, which speaks directly to how we view and develop every horse.

Each program begins with a conversation to understand your horse, your goals, and whether this is the right fit for you.
