A comprehensive approach to equine development

Adaptive EQ is a comprehensive methodology built on the traditional regimens of the classical European riding schools. For hundreds of years, these schools have produced some of the world’s most admired riding horses. Yet the development process can be confusing and filled with stumbling blocks. From this foundation, Adaptive EQ creates an educational pathway that blends classical principles with modern, science-based care, breaking the process into individual, achievable elements.

A customized matrix

We believe that every horse-and-rider partnership is unique, so we apply a customized and evolving matrix of components each individual needs to move forward.

Much like building blocks, each element within the matrix plays a distinct role. Training, nutrition, soundness, hoof care, and rider development are combined and adjusted over time to create a structure that is stable, functional, and responsive to change.

This matrix is constantly evolving and, at every step, takes a holistic, whole-horse approach. To help the horse thrive over the long term, we must keep its overall well-being in constant focus.
